Using This Website
Cottage Orchard may change or remove content from this site at any time, without prior notice. We also reserve the right to update these terms and conditions. Continued use of the website or placing of orders means you’re accepting those changes.
Placing an Order
When you place an order with us, you confirm that:
- You’re over 18 and able to enter into a legally binding contract.
- The personal details you provide are complete and accurate.
- You’re not using false or misleading information.
A contract is formed only when your order has been processed and dispatched. You’ll receive an order confirmation via email once your order is placed.
Payment & Cancellation
You may cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If the order hasn’t yet been dispatched, we’ll cancel and refund it straight away.
If it has already been delivered, please contact us for return instructions. You are responsible for return postage. Refunds will be made to the original payment method.
Please note: for food items (like honey), returns may not be accepted if opened or tampered with, due to food hygiene standards.
Delivery & Collection
Currently, we offer:
- Local pickup from either of our two locations (see checkout for details).
- Local delivery may be possible — please contact us to check availability.
We cannot be held responsible for delays or damage caused during delivery by third parties.
Returns
Unopened, unused items can be returned within 14 days in their original packaging. Returns must be agreed in advance by contacting us directly.
Items returned without prior agreement may not be accepted or refunded.
Our Liability
We do our best to keep the website accurate and up to date, but we can’t guarantee it will always be free from errors. We don’t accept liability for loss or damage caused by use of the website or reliance on its content.
You are responsible for ensuring your own devices are protected from viruses or technical issues.
Your Consumer Rights
Nothing in these terms affects your rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
Severability
If any part of these terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the rest of the terms will remain valid and in full effect.
